About the position

The Dual Director of Human Resources at REVERB by Hard Rock in Downtown Atlanta is responsible for providing comprehensive HR support to the hotel, ensuring effective recruitment, training, and compliance with employment laws. This role involves collaborating with the General Manager and department heads to foster a positive work environment and support the hotel's operational needs.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the hiring and onboarding process for all Associates.
  • Partner with corporate talent team in the recruitment process of new candidates.
  • Facilitate the administration of brand/management Company training, Associate Recognition Programs, Safety Activities, and Workers' Compensation Case Management.
  • Coordinate Open Enrollment and communication/adherence to processes surrounding Associate Benefits.
  • Partner with HVMG Corporate HR Team on HR Initiatives such as Employee Relations, Benefits, Training, and Recruitment.
  • Utilize HRIS and Time and Attendance systems to manage core functions for the role.
  • Maintain payroll process from time and attendance audits to payroll submission.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of progressive experience in Human Resources, preferably in a hotel environment.
  • Four-year degree or university program certificate; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, specifically Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with the Atlanta Downtown market.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive information.
