About the position

Hacienda La Puente Unified School District (HLPUSD) is seeking a dedicated and passionate Dual Immersion - Spanish Elementary Teacher to join our team. This position is integral to our innovative dual immersion program, which has received recognition for its excellence and effectiveness in promoting bilingual education. As a Dual Immersion Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment that fosters the academic and social development of students from diverse backgrounds. You will implement a curriculum that supports both English and Spanish language acquisition, ensuring that students achieve proficiency in both languages while meeting the academic standards set by the district and state. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Must hold a California Multiple Subject Credential with BCLAD (Spanish).
  • Completed application with all required documentation attached.
  • Copies of unofficial transcripts with degree posted (BA/MA depending on position).
  • A detailed online copy of credential from the CTC website.
  • Resume consistent with employment information on the Edjoin application.
  • Two letters of recommendation, dated within the last two years, hand-signed, and including contact information.
