About the position

The Complex Operations Manager at PAH Management is responsible for overseeing hotel operations to ensure profitability through effective revenue generation, cost control, and guest satisfaction. This role requires working opposite shifts from the Assistant General Manager and involves various responsibilities guided by the General Manager, including leadership, compliance, training, and financial oversight.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and oversight of hotel operations.
  • Ensure safety compliance in all areas.
  • Oversee hotel reservations operations.
  • Participate in required Manager on Duty (M.O.D.) coverage as scheduled.
  • Ensure training in service standards is taking place in each department according to PAH Management Standards.
  • Assist in creating a positive team-oriented environment focused on guest satisfaction through associate development and motivation.
  • Ensure complete processing of invoices daily using the Accounts Payable process.
  • Ensure all appropriate information for financial documents is received by the Corporate Office monthly, in compliance with the monthly accounting calendar.
  • Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of the physical property through inspections and preventive maintenance programs with department managers.
  • Ensure associates are attentive, friendly, courteous, and efficient in their interactions with guests and management.
  • Forecast the hotel's financial position by estimating revenues and line-by-line expenses each month.
  • Analyze previous and projected data to generate an accurate reforecast.
  • Perform any other duties as requested by the Regional Director of Operations or General Manager.
  • Ensure fair and equitable treatment of all associates according to PAH S.O.P.'s.
  • Be present in public areas during peak times to greet guests and offer assistance as needed.
  • Ensure procedures for handling the hotel safe are followed and monthly audits occur.

Requirements

  • At least 3-5 years' progressive experience in a hotel or related field; or a 4-year college degree and at least 2 to 4 years of related experience; or a 2-year college degree and at least 3 to 4 years of related experience.
  • Valid driver's license.
