About the position

The Dual Rate Cage Cashier/Cage Supervisor at Seneca Gaming & Entertainment is responsible for providing monetary services to guests, including cash exchanges, processing credit and debit transactions, and managing patron deposit accounts. This role also involves overseeing the Cage Department's daily operations and ensuring excellent guest service while adhering to company policies and internal control standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide monetary services for guests, including exchanging tickets for cash and processing credit/debit transactions.
• Establish and process transactions for patron deposit accounts and make change as needed.
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Cage Department.
• Maintain and support various remote kiosks servicing guests and other casino departments.
• Perform duties of a Main Banker and General Cashier Banker.
• Ensure compliance with Seneca Gaming and Entertainment's policies and procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of previous cashier or money handling experience required.
• Previous customer service experience with high-level service skills required.
• Effective math skills are required; applicants may need to pass a math skills test.
• Ability to operate office equipment, including a 10-key adding machine and personal computer.

Nice-to-haves

• Previous clerical/data entry experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of cash register operations preferred.
• Knowledge of coin counter and currency counters preferred.
• Two years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Six months experience in all cage banks preferred.
