About the position

The Dual Rate Spa & Salon Receptionist/Spa & Salon Shift Manager is responsible for providing exceptional service to clients in the Spa & Salon while also overseeing daily operations when acting as the Shift Manager. This role requires a blend of customer service and leadership skills to ensure a high-quality experience for guests and effective management of front-line personnel in the Spa and Salon Department.

Responsibilities

• Provide four-star service to all clients in the Spa & Salon.
• Oversee and assist with daily responsibilities of the Spa and Salon Department's front line personnel.
• Act as the Spa/Salon Shift Manager when needed.
• Ensure compliance with Seneca Gaming Corporation's policies and procedures.
• Handle customer service inquiries and resolve conflicts in a diplomatic manner.
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while interacting with clients and staff.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older upon employment.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Three to five years of administrative/clerical work experience preferred.
• At least one year of Customer Service Supervisory/Leadership role experience.
• Spa and/or Salon work experience is required.
• Current position as a Receptionist, Massage Therapist, Esthetician, Nail Technician, or Stylist is necessary.
• Certification as a Massage Therapist, Esthetician, and/or Beautician in New York State is required.
• Experience with money handling and operating a cash register is necessary.
• Knowledge of Spa Services, Treatments, and Products is essential.
• Computer skills necessary to operate SpaSoft system and spreadsheets.

• Experience in a fast-paced resort environment.
• Ability to work with cleaning chemicals safely.
