About the position

This position is responsible for supporting post-offer onboarding activities at the Gadsden, AL facility. The role involves creating, maintaining, verifying, and organizing employee files and documentation to ensure compliance with EEO regulations. The individual will assist with the onboarding checklist and adhere to employment authorization guidelines as per company and government regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Collect, review, upload policies, procedures, standards, templates and related KPIs.
  • Assist and support with I-9 initiation, involuntary servitude interview, document verification, policy review & acceptance, and schedule orientation date.
  • Conduct on-site virtual or in-person tours and orientations.
  • Support in the rescheduled new hire start dates or no-show situations.
  • Administer new hire paperwork to ensure completion/uploading of all required documents.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred, or equivalent work experience.
  • 2+ years relevant work experience providing HR administrative support preferred.
  • Standard computer skills - Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Bi-lingual is a plus.
  • Attention to detail in composing, typing, proofing, and analyzing materials.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple competing tasks and demands.
  • Must maintain confidentiality.
