About the position

This is an on-site position at the Gadsden, AL facility, primarily responsible for supporting post-offer onboarding activities. The role involves creating, maintaining, verifying, and organizing employee files, I-9s, and other documentation to ensure compliance with all Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) regulations. The successful candidate will assist with the completion of the onboarding checklist while strictly adhering to all employment authorization guidelines in accordance with company and government regulations. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring that new hires have a smooth transition into the company, which includes conducting on-site virtual or in-person tours and orientations, as well as supporting in rescheduled new hire start dates or no-show situations. The responsibilities also include collecting, reviewing, and uploading policies, procedures, standards, templates, and related Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). The candidate will assist and support with I-9 initiation, involuntary servitude interviews, document verification, policy review and acceptance, and scheduling orientation dates. Additionally, administering new hire paperwork to ensure the completion and uploading of all required documents is a key part of this role. Other duties may be assigned as necessary, making this a dynamic position that requires adaptability and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Collect, review, upload policies, procedures, standards, templates and related KPIs.
  • Assist and support with I-9 initiation, involuntary servitude interview, document verification, policy review & acceptance, and schedule orientation date.
  • Conduct on-site virtual or in-person tours and orientations.
  • Support in the rescheduled new hire start dates or no-show situations.
  • Administer new hire paperwork to ensure completion/uploading of all required documents.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred; equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of higher education.
  • 2+ years relevant work experience providing HR administrative support preferred.
  • Standard computer skills - Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication interpersonal skills; must be able to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Bi-lingual is a plus.
  • Attention to detail in composing, typing, proofing, and analyzing materials; ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple competing tasks and demands; must maintain confidentiality.
