About the position

The Duty Free Sales Associate at Hudson is responsible for providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced retail environment at the Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport. This role involves assisting customers with their purchases, managing stock duties, and ensuring a clean and organized store. The position offers opportunities for growth and development within the company.

Responsibilities

• Acknowledge and greet customers
• Communicate effectively with customers, fellow employees, and store management
• Know basic store layout to assist customers in their selection of product and answer customer questions
• Effectively operate a cash register
• Follow all company policies, cash handling policies, and special store loss prevention procedures
• Communicate pricing, out of date, and inventory issues with management
• Protect all company assets and stock merchandise in stores and backrooms
• Isolate, sort, and organize all damaged and outdated products and returns
• Inform management of any out-of-stock situations
• Help maintain a neat, clean, organized store, including sweeping, dusting, and trash removal
• Place stock orders, receive freight, load, and unload trucks
• Provide ongoing stock replenishment to the sales floor
• Assist in inventory and reconciliation of inventory variances
• Perform related work as assigned

Requirements

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with diverse personalities
• Ability to multi-task
• Ability to lift 40-60 pounds
• Ability to work in an environment exposed to the elements, both hot and cold
• Good time-management skills and problem-solving abilities
