About the position

The Duty Maintenance Manager at British Airways Plc is responsible for overseeing maintenance operations at the Denver International Airport. This role involves ensuring compliance with global maintenance protocols, managing quality and performance metrics, and providing operational support to meet aviation standards. The manager will also handle commercial contracts and facilitate improvements in maintenance practices to enhance productivity and financial performance.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, and measure completed work to ensure conformance with British Airways' global maintenance protocol.
• Define measures of quality, cost, delivery, and performance to support Line Maintenance objectives.
• Provide operational and technical support to ensure compliance with company and aviation standards.
• Determine schedules, sequences, and assignments for work activities based on priority and equipment availability.
• Manage commercial customer contracts to ensure compliance with budget and conditions.
• Facilitate continuous development and improvement of Line Maintenance practices and facilities.
• Coordinate requisition of materials and supplies, including tools and replacement parts.
• Manage activities of aircraft maintenance and ground operations personnel during shifts.
• Provide employee safety training to prevent and correct unsafe conditions.

Requirements

• Five years of experience in the aircraft maintenance industry, focusing on quality control and regulatory compliance.
• Two years of experience with B787, B777, and/or A350 aircraft and engines.
• Possession of a CAA Part 66 license and/or an EASA Part 66 license.
