About the position

The DW Developer position focuses on database development with a strong emphasis on SQL coding, data warehousing, and cloud architectures. The role requires expertise in Informatica IICS, Snowflake, and Airflow, along with a solid understanding of AWS. The developer will be responsible for analyzing, designing, documenting, coding, testing, and implementing solutions primarily using SQL. This position is ideal for candidates with a background in healthcare or claims processing, as well as those who have experience with large data warehouses.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in database development including analyzing, designing, documenting, coding, testing, and implementing primarily SQL code.
• Thorough knowledge of Data Warehouse applications on AWS.
• Experience working with Airflow.
• Exceptional Oracle/Snowflake SQL skills.
• Hands-on experience with Cloud architectures.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Informatica IICS.
• Understanding of version control and use of GitHub.
• Experience working with a large, multi-terabyte data warehouse.
• BS in Computer Science or related degree, or equivalent experience.
• Medicaid or other healthcare or claims processing experience.
• Experienced in Oracle SQL skills and PL/SQL skills.
• Experience with Perl, system administration, database administration, storage architectures, backup & recovery, and networking.

• Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud Certification and AWS Certified Solutions Preferred
• Snowflake Certification Preferred
