The Microsoft Power Platform Developer will play a crucial role in assisting citizen developers in creating and supporting applications using Microsoft's PowerApps, Dynamics 365, and Power BI. The primary objective is to deliver effective services and solutions tailored to customer needs through the Microsoft Power Platform suite, which includes custom development and data integrations. This position encompasses all facets of solution implementation, including development, testing, deployment, and process documentation. The consultant is expected to work remotely, with a high expectation of professionalism, reliability, and productivity. On-site presence will only be required as needed by the manager or team, and any associated costs will be the responsibility of the consultant. The role demands a strong ability to develop enterprise business automation solutions utilizing Dynamics 365, PowerApps, Power Automate, and Power BI. The developer should be adept at designing responsive web applications that are compatible across multiple device formats. Additionally, the consultant must have experience in developing applications that interact with various data services or REST APIs. A foundational understanding of one or more programming languages, such as Python, C#, Java, JavaScript, NodeJS, or PHP, is essential, along with the capability to learn and apply new knowledge swiftly. The consultant will ensure that the application development team adheres to established coding and design standards, while also accelerating product delivery through DevOps automation. Security standards and guidelines must be met in all applications developed. Strong relational database experience, particularly with SQL Server and data modeling, is required. The consultant should be capable of independently resolving client issues and creating custom plug-in code in the .NET framework or C# using CRM SDKs for Power Apps. Familiarity with Azure services, including Azure integration services like Logic Apps, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Functions, is also critical. The role includes developing and customizing model-driven apps, configuring dynamics security roles, and customizing dynamics/power portals, as well as developing JavaScript and custom workflows.
