About the position

As a Dynamics DevOps Engineer at Booz Allen, you will play a crucial role in supporting our clients as they modernize their infrastructure. This position involves designing and managing pipeline configurations to facilitate modern Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) activities. You will leverage your expertise within a DevOps framework to establish and provision pipelines that ensure consistent deliveries and promotions, ultimately contributing to the meaningful missions of our clients. Your work will be pivotal in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of our clients' operations, allowing them to focus on their core objectives while we handle the complexities of their DevOps processes. In this role, you will collaborate closely with other engineers in a dynamic environment, participating in pull request reviews, planning activities, and retrospectives. Your ability to communicate effectively will be essential as you describe resolutions to tasks, create efficient documentation, and present information to larger audiences. You will also be expected to maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements, ensuring that you meet the necessary security and compliance standards. This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in DevOps and automation frameworks, particularly with tools such as GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins. Responsibilities

  • Design and manage pipeline configurations to support modern ALM activities.
  • Establish and provision pipelines for consistent deliveries and promotions.
  • Collaborate with other engineers in a dynamic environment.
  • Participate in pull request reviews, planning activities, and retrospectives.
  • Create efficient documentation and present information to larger audiences.
  • Maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience with DevOps and automation frameworks, including GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics or Power App Solutions and ALM.
  • Knowledge of YAML and PowerShell.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD principles and best practices.
  • Knowledge of artifact versioning using Nexus or GitHub Packages.
  • Ability to concisely describe resolutions to tasking.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with the VA.
  • Experience working with Docker containers and Kubernetes platforms.
  • Experience with Cloud Service Providers (CSPs), including AWS and its associated services and tools.
  • Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
  • Experience with supporting a 24x7 mission-critical system.
  • Experience with continuous monitoring and logging tools, including Prometheus, Grafana, Fluentd, AlertManager, PagerDuty, Datadog, or Splunk.
