The eAcute Virtual Care Nurse plays a crucial role in the Virtual Care Command Center at CoxHealth, providing advanced monitoring and support for patients from admission to discharge. Responsibilities

• Assist with managing care for adult or geriatric patients experiencing general medical conditions or surgical procedures.
• Complete the admission and discharge process for patients.
• Develop and maintain care plans for patients.
• Provide patient education and medication discharge teaching.
• Coordinate care and mentor new nurses.
• Implement evidence-based care and conduct real-time quality and patient safety surveillance.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Minimum of two years previous nursing experience on an inpatient nursing unit.
• Active RN license in the state of Missouri.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 90 days.

Nice-to-haves
