About the position
The E Billing Specialist position at a prestigious U.S. law firm involves managing the full cycle of billing processes, including regular and electronic billing. The role is crucial for ensuring seamless billing operations and requires strong analytical skills to handle complex billing guidelines and vendor communications. This position offers a hybrid work schedule, allowing for both in-office and remote work, and is part of a national financial services department.
Responsibilities
- Manage full cycle billing, including both regular billing and e-billing.
- Process over 600 invoices per month.
- Maintain and communicate with vendors to ensure seamless billing operations.
- Administer all aspects of client account analysis and billing.
- Use electronic third-party billing applications and navigate complex billing guidelines.
- Analyze, track, and appeal e-bills with deductions or specialty legal billing needs.
Requirements
- 5+ years of legal billing experience, ideally in a law firm or professional services environment.
- Proficiency in Elite Enterprise, 3E, eBilling Hub, Paperless Proforma, or similar billing platforms.
- Strong communication skills to engage effectively with vendors, clients, and internal stakeholders.
