As a Business Development Manager, you will play a crucial role in our Beverage Business Unit, focusing on new account acquisition and growth across multiple beverage markets in the U.S. Your primary responsibility will be to execute leads generated by our marketing team while also identifying key prospects and engaging with decision-makers to understand their needs. This position requires a strong understanding of the packaging process to effectively promote Amcor's innovative products that meet customer requirements. In this role, you will be tasked with developing strategic and value-added relationships with customers, which is essential for advancing both short- and long-term growth objectives. Your efforts will directly contribute to generating new revenue and profit by offering tailored product and service solutions to targeted prospects. As a market-facing position, you will be responsible for executing business development strategies and successfully closing new customer deals. Your essential responsibilities will include creating a strategic approach to engage and win new business, managing a pipeline of new business opportunities in line with our Sales Funnel management process, and developing comprehensive business plans that encompass financial and competitive analyses. You will also be expected to deliver revenue growth through direct penetration of new accounts, prospect for new customers, and drive business opportunities that align with Amcor's portfolio. Understanding market trends and dynamics will be critical as you work to promote new products and gain visibility within target markets. Collaboration with the Marketing team will be vital, as you will serve as a subject matter expert, assisting in market sizing, trends, and competitive analysis. Building a robust external network with key industry influencers and decision-makers will further enhance your ability to manage strategic customer relationships and negotiate successful business deals.
