About the position

As an E-Commerce Application Developer at Lennox, you will design and build eCommerce applications using various technologies including .Net and Java. This role involves interacting with business customers to define system scope and objectives, conducting data modeling, coding, testing, and documentation. You will collaborate with engineering and design teams to develop both frontend and backend frameworks, ensuring applications are responsive and performant across devices.

Responsibilities

• Design and build eCommerce applications using .Net and Java.
• Interact with business customers to define system scope and objectives.
• Conduct data modeling, configuration, specification development, coding, testing, and documentation.
• Develop web applications in .Net technologies and Java.
• Create databases to work in conjunction with applications.
• Design UI layout and build micro-interactions and animations.
• Ensure applications are web and mobile responsive and performant.
• Collaborate with engineering and design teams efficiently.
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
• Provide progress updates to the team while working on tasks.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or related experience.
• 5+ years of software development experience with expertise in Web development and Digital technologies.
• Proficiency in .Net, Java, HTML, CSS, CSS Preprocessing, JavaScript, jQuery, Grunt, Angular, and Spring Boot.
• Knowledge of Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Data for building web applications and microservices.
• Experience with JavaScript frameworks like Angular, React, or Vue.js.
• Object-oriented web programming experience.
• Experience in building applications using Ajax, jQuery, OO JavaScript, JSON, and XML.
• Knowledge of CSS3 and HTML5 features.
• Experience in designing and developing RESTful web services.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture using Java tools.
• Expertise in C# and the .NET Core framework.
• Experience with relational databases like SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases like MongoDB.
• Knowledge of serverless computing using Azure Functions.
• Familiarity with API management and testing frameworks.
• Good communication skills and experience in UML and technical documentation.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development cycles.

Nice-to-haves

• Integrating with backend and/or CMS experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with GIT/Azure DevOps.
• Familiarity with Typescript.
