About the position

As an E-Commerce Application Developer III at Lennox International, you will design and build eCommerce applications using various technologies including .NET and Java. This role involves collaborating with business customers to define system objectives, conducting data modeling, and developing both frontend and backend frameworks for web applications. You will also be responsible for creating databases, designing UI layouts, and ensuring applications are responsive and performant across devices.

Responsibilities

• Design and build eCommerce applications using .NET and Java.
• Interact with business customers to define system scope and objectives.
• Conduct data modeling, configuration, specification development, coding, testing, and documentation.
• Develop web applications in both .NET technologies and Java.
• Create databases to work in conjunction with the applications.
• Design UI layout and build micro-interactions and animations.
• Ensure applications are web and mobile responsive and performant.
• Collaborate efficiently with engineering and design teams.
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
• Provide progress updates to the team while working on tasks.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or related experience.
• 5+ years of software development experience with expertise in web development and digital technologies.
• Proficiency in .NET, Java, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Angular, and Spring Boot.
• Knowledge of Spring MVC and Spring Data for building web applications and microservices.
• Experience with JavaScript frameworks like Angular, React, or Vue.js.
• Experience in building applications using Ajax, JSON, and XML.
• Knowledge of CSS3 and HTML5.
• Experience in designing and developing RESTful web services.
• Expertise in C# and the .NET Core framework.
• Familiarity with relational databases like SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases like MongoDB.
• Familiarity with Azure Functions and API Gateways.
• Good communication skills.
• Experience in UML and technical documentation writing.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development cycles.

Nice-to-haves

• Integrating with backend and/or CMS experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with Typescript.
• Experience with testing frameworks like JUnit and NUnit.
• Familiarity with GIT/Azure DevOps.
