About the position

The Shopify Catalog/Product Listing Manager at Flipcost.com is responsible for managing and optimizing product catalogs for both B2C and B2B e-commerce platforms. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills to enhance customer engagement and satisfaction through effective catalog management. The position involves overseeing a catalog of over 45,000 products, ensuring accurate and appealing product listings, and collaborating with marketing teams to align product offerings with promotional strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Focus on the unique needs of B2B customers, such as tiered pricing and bulk purchasing options.
  • Optimize the front-end experience for B2B customers to ensure seamless navigation and functionality.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve B2B customer engagement and satisfaction.
  • Manage B2C cataloging and product listings to ensure an engaging and user-friendly shopping experience.
  • Create and manage product collections and categories tailored to B2C customer preferences.
  • Ensure product listings are visually appealing and easy to navigate for B2C customers.
  • Organize and maintain the Shopify catalog by creating and managing product collections and categories.
  • Ensure accurate, up-to-date product data, including descriptions, pricing, images, and specifications.
  • Regularly update product listings to reflect current promotions, inventory levels, and market trends.
  • Conduct periodic audits to ensure data integrity and consistency across the catalog.
  • Add and update new products, ensuring accuracy and consistency with Flipcost.com's standards.
  • Write compelling product descriptions highlighting specifications, features, and benefits.
  • Maintain high-quality images and ensure product listings are SEO-optimized.
  • Monitor and analyze product performance to identify and implement improvements.
  • Organize products into relevant categories and collections to maximize visibility and sales potential.
  • Continuously refine category structures to align with market trends and customer preferences.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create seasonal and promotional collections.
  • Utilize Shopify's tools and apps for efficient product categorization, pricing, and tagging.
  • Update and manage Shopify themes to improve front-end design and functionality.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve catalog-related and front-end issues promptly.
  • Manage inventory levels to ensure accurate stock information is displayed on the website.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to align product listings with promotions and campaigns.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business goals and meet customer needs.
  • Participate in regular team meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Ensure all product listings meet Flipcost.com's quality standards for accuracy, imagery, and pricing.
  • Conduct regular audits to maintain consistency and reliability.
  • Implement quality control processes to minimize errors and discrepancies.
  • Optimize product titles, descriptions, and metadata for search engines to drive organic traffic.
  • Stay updated on SEO best practices and implement changes to improve search rankings.
  • Analyze SEO performance and adjust strategies to enhance visibility and traffic.

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing product catalogs and front-end design on Shopify.
  • Previous experience in e-commerce, B2B sales, or product management preferred.
  • Technical proficiency with Shopify back-end.
  • Familiarity with SEO principles and practices.
  • Strong accuracy in product descriptions, pricing, and categorization.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written communication for product content and effective collaboration with teams.
