About the position

The Manager, eCommerce is responsible for managing The Save Mart Companies (TSMC) e-commerce programs through a 'customer-first' marketing approach to ensure an optimal and measurable customer experience. This position manages program development and integration/execution, which includes administration of TSMC's e-commerce marketing campaigns and delivering the performance of our ecommerce programs.

Responsibilities

  • Launch & scale ecommerce programs. Track, communicate and coordinate with various stakeholders and teams across The Save Mart Companies, ensuring sales and profits goals are achieved by rigorous measurement of program performance and adapting offerings as needed.
  • Collaborates with the Store Operations team, Merchandising, and Consumer Promotions team on vendor promotional strategies, ensuring vendor programs are Consumer-centric, relevant, and appropriate for each geography to drive sales.
  • Manages the execution of communication strategies that are customer centric and cohesive, using segmentation and personalization, delivered digitally through email, push notifications, app, and web.
  • Increase customer acquisition, retention, re-engagement and conversion through multi-channel marketing promotions.
  • Leverage customer centric predictive analytics and modeling to drive dynamic and relevant offers.
  • Partners with third-party e-commerce providers to maintain collaborative and productive agreements.
  • Partners with technical teams, informing and managing the development of roadmaps to ensure infrastructure and systems align while supporting the business' ambitions and growth targets.
  • Develop promotions for ecommerce programs based on program insights, relevant shopper/consumer timing opportunities, and overall performance driving incremental sales and transactions.
  • Establish and implement best practices for database marketing processes, measurement, evaluation, data capture, maintenance and customer/prospect list selection.
  • Administers the execution of technological business tools to analyze and deliver promotions through implementation, quality assurance, user acceptance testing, rollout, and ongoing support.
  • Possess the ability to apply analytical and problem-solving skills towards execution of strategies to drive sales and customer experience within our stores.
  • Measure campaign effectiveness, analyzing continuously for optimization.
  • Work collaboratively with various teams and remain flexible in a fast-paced environment where priorities shift.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
