About the position

The eCommerce Content Marketing Manager at Generac will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing a comprehensive content strategy across various eCommerce channels. This position is designed for a creative and strategic thinker who can align content with the brand voice, engage the target audience, and drive measurable results. The individual will oversee all aspects of content creation and management for eCommerce channels, which includes product detail pages, lead generation pages, email campaigns, and retail advertising assets. In this role, the manager will develop an eCommerce content strategy that optimizes Generac's digital presence and maximizes conversion rates across retailers and the product portfolio. This involves translating the content strategy into actionable asset creation, utilizing both internal creative teams and external agency partners. The manager will be responsible for creating content for product detail pages, including images, videos, and SEO-optimized descriptions, as well as for lead generation pages and email campaigns. Additionally, they will support new product launches with tailored eCommerce content strategies to ensure strong performance in eCommerce channels. The position also requires managing asset syndication across eCommerce retail partners, leveraging asset management vendors and tools to enhance efficiency. The manager will maintain a channel marketing content calendar throughout the year and analyze content performance results and KPIs, sharing insights with cross-functional partners and leaders to optimize future content creation. Furthermore, the manager will develop improved eCommerce shopper journeys at key retailers and collaborate closely with product marketing teams, corporate digital marketing teams, third-party vendors, sales, product management, graphics, and other stakeholders to ensure overall project and business success.

Responsibilities

  • Own ratings and reviews strategy and management, reporting on trends and insights.
  • Collaborate with product marketing teams, corporate digital marketing team, third-party vendors, sales, product management, and graphics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or related field.
  • 5 years' experience in content marketing or related roles.
  • Strong understanding of consumer and market insights and ability to translate them into effective marketing content.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage deadlines.
  • Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail and strategic content planning abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration.
