About the position

The eCommerce Developer at Revelyst will focus on creating dynamic, user-centric experiences for the company's e-commerce platform. This role involves utilizing React to develop and optimize front-end applications, ensuring high performance and scalability while collaborating with design, product, and marketing teams to bring creative visions to life.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize eCommerce applications using React and modern front-end development practices.
• Collaborate with design, product, and marketing teams to create responsive, engaging, and visually appealing user interfaces.
• Implement best practices to optimize speed and performance, ensuring responsive and efficient user experiences.
• Work with APIs (REST, GraphQL, etc.) to seamlessly integrate data and services into front-end applications.
• Ensure applications follow SEO best practices and meet accessibility standards for inclusive user experiences.
• Write and maintain clean, reusable code and perform testing to ensure functionality and quality.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest in React, JavaScript, and front-end development trends.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience in front-end development, with a focus on eCommerce applications.
• Strong experience in React and JavaScript/TypeScript, with a deep understanding of component-based architecture.
• Familiarity with GraphQL and/or REST APIs for managing data and interactions.
• Experience in optimizing web applications for performance, including Core Web Vitals and responsive design principles.
• Working knowledge of SEO best practices and accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG).
• Ability to work closely with designers to implement pixel-perfect user interfaces.
• Strong ability to work with cross-functional teams in a collaborative and Agile environment.

Nice-to-haves

• Exposure to headless CMS platforms or composable commerce stacks is a plus.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks and tools such as Jest, Cypress, or similar is a plus.
