About the position

The E-Commerce/Digital Marketing Manager at Joe's Sporting Goods is responsible for enhancing the company's online presence and driving sales through effective digital marketing strategies. This role involves managing the Internet Sales Department, creating marketing campaigns, maintaining the e-commerce site, and ensuring excellent customer service online. The position requires a passion for the outdoors and a commitment to delivering a consistent shopping experience for customers.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Internet Sales Department and all aspects of online sales.
• Create marketing and advertising campaigns aligned with in-store events and sales.
• Maintain the product library on the e-commerce site, including pricing, descriptions, images, and SEO best practices.
• Communicate ideas, new product launches, and events through blogs, social media, and web calendars.
• Interact with customers and team members to ensure great online service.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in communications, marketing, advertising, and social media, including Amazon Marketplace.
• Experience with website management, Google Shopping and Analytics, SEO and SEM.
• Experience with Adobe Magento or other third-party selling platforms.
• Experience with NCR Counterpoint or other third-party POS systems.
• Expertise with Adobe Creative Suite and other web design software and Photoshop.
• Strong communication skills and fresh ideas.
• Proven conflict management skills.
• Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Strong cognitive skills, including problem analysis and decision making.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred.
