About the position

The eCommerce and Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for managing and executing eCommerce marketing strategies and promotions for a collection of hotels. This role involves overseeing digital marketing tactics, analyzing performance metrics, and providing insights to maximize online revenue and profitability.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and drive overall digital marketing strategies including SEO, SEM, and social media presence.
  • Involve in ongoing and annual electronic distribution strategy and planning.
  • Provide local market insights and recommendations.
  • Analyze and report monthly digital performance metrics and hotel performance data to stakeholders.
  • Assist in managing hotel listings and content on online travel agency websites.
  • Direct local marketing initiatives such as Google My Business and Bing listings.
  • Lead project life cycle through requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and launch.
  • Support Sales and Revenue Department with promotional and tactical marketing efforts.
  • Provide eCommerce and digital marketing communication, education, and training to hotels.
  • Research and identify business opportunities for technologies and tools to enable operational efficiencies.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of Internet marketing or eCommerce experience in the hospitality industry or related field.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality or Hospitality marketing is a plus.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Strong understanding of traditional and online marketing.
  • Content Management and web analytics experience.
  • Knowledge of website production and fundamentals.
  • Ability to independently manage multiple tasks and projects.
  • Two or more years' experience analyzing and reporting web traffic and eCommerce sales metrics.
  • Fully up to date on current eCommerce sales tools and techniques.
  • Website development experience is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in hospitality marketing is preferred.
  • Familiarity with various digital marketing tools and platforms.
