About the position

The E-commerce Marketing Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role that plays a crucial part in supporting the e-commerce team for both oldworldfoods.com and giftlot.com. This position is designed for an individual who is passionate about digital marketing and has a strong background in e-commerce strategies. The primary responsibilities include developing and implementing social media strategies, generating engaging content for various social media platforms, managing paid influencer campaigns, and crafting effective marketing emails. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of enhancing a brand's online presence through innovative social media and email marketing techniques. In this role, the E-commerce Marketing Coordinator will assist the e-commerce manager in creating comprehensive social media and email strategies for both brands. Daily management of social media accounts, including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn, is a key responsibility. The coordinator will be expected to create a minimum of three unique social media posts each week, based on a marketing calendar maintained by the E-commerce Manager. Familiarity with design tools such as Canva and Photoshop, as well as video editing skills, will be beneficial for creating visually appealing content. Additionally, the coordinator will solicit and manage paid social media influencers to generate content through the Upfluence tool, aiming for a minimum of six new influencers and postings each month. The role also involves assembling and sending at least two email marketing messages weekly, utilizing Klaviyo accounts to reach target audiences effectively. Responsibilities

  • Assist the e-commerce manager with creating social media and email strategy for both brands.
  • Daily manage social media accounts including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc. for the Old World Foods, Giftlot.com, and Marketplace Brands brands.
  • Create a minimum of three unique social media postings (static or reels) a week based upon the marketing calendar for the OWQF and Giftlot brands.
  • Familiarity with design tools such as Canva, Photoshop, and video editing.
  • Solicit and manage paid social media influencers to create content through the Upfluence tool, aiming for a minimum of 6 new influencers and postings per month.
  • Assemble and send a minimum of two email marketing messages a week based upon the email marketing calendar for both the OWQF and Giftlot brands using Klaviyo accounts.

Requirements

  • Proven experience (1-2 years) working with consumer brands to promote their products online and through social media channels.
  • Proficiency with email marketing software similar to Klaviyo, social media software like Hootsuite, and influencer software such as Upfluence.
  • Experience with video and photo editing is preferred.
  • Experience in social media management and marketing is essential.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
