About the position

The eCommerce Operations Manager will oversee the operational aspects of JBS USA's eCommerce channel, ensuring efficient order fulfillment, optimizing logistics, and enhancing operational processes to deliver an exceptional customer experience. This role is critical in managing daily operations, improving efficiency, and leading a team to achieve operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily eCommerce operations, including order processing, fulfillment, and shipping.
  • Manage last-mile delivery logistics to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
  • Lead fulfillment optimization projects to ensure best case scenario as we grow our footprint.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and scalability.
  • Monitor key performance indicators such as fulfillment rates, delivery times, and operational costs.
  • Ownership of P&L line items such as Shipping & Packaging Expenses.
  • Lead and mentor the eCommerce Operations Analyst, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Identify and implement enhancements to operational systems and technologies to streamline processes and improve efficiency in collaboration with our IT Team.
  • Identify operational bottlenecks and implement effective solutions promptly.
  • Ensure all operations comply with industry regulations and company policies.
  • Manage relationships with last-mile logistics providers and other operational vendors to ensure operational excellence and favorable terms.
  • Prepare and present operational performance reports and insights to senior management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Logistics, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in operations & delivery carrier management, preferably in eCommerce or retail logistics.
  • Proficiency in operations management software and tools.
  • Experience with order management systems and warehouse management systems.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain and logistics processes.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management abilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on operational excellence.
  • Ability to multitask and handle high-pressure situations effectively.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in scaling operations in a high-growth environment.
  • Familiarity with lean management principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
