About the position

The E-Commerce Photographer at MERS Goodwill is responsible for producing high-quality photographs of merchandise to enhance online sales. This role supports the organization's mission of changing lives through work and requires effective communication, organization, and attention to detail. The photographer will work collaboratively with team members and maintain a professional appearance while adhering to safety and security regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Produce quality photographs that highlight the product well.
  • Photograph items from multiple angles to showcase critical features and potential flaws.
  • Accurately scan in merchandise to track the chain of custody.
  • Place photographed items in the designated cart.
  • Prepare and clean the production station before and after every shift.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with team members and leadership.
  • Utilize safe work practices and contribute to a hazard-free workplace.
  • Safeguard agency assets from harm or theft and report incidents.
  • Adhere to all MERS/Goodwill policies and safety regulations.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED preferred, no degree required.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organizational skills and ability to interact with a diverse work population.
  • Basic math, computer, and website navigation skills.
  • Complex reasoning and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to type 40+ WPM is strongly preferred.
