About The Position

The E-Commerce Supervisor at Whole Foods Market is responsible for overseeing the WFMOA E-Commerce team, ensuring a safe and productive work environment while delivering exceptional customer service. This role emphasizes safety, quality, productivity, and a positive work atmosphere, requiring the supervisor to manage team operations effectively and support team members in their roles.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 6+ months retail experience in a retail, distribution, or logistics environment.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and/or evenings.
  • Availability to work overtime during peak seasons and as needed year-round.
  • Authorization to work in the US without sponsorship.
  • Proficiency with email, Microsoft Office, and operations-related applications including scheduling and ordering software.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure a safe work environment for all Team Members.
  • Review work forecasts and uphold productivity and utilization requirements to meet WFMOA objectives.
  • Partner with other departments to ensure timely process flow in and out of stores and meet customer order times.
  • Proactively identify and lead process improvement initiatives.
  • Balance labor to operate an efficient shift while meeting production goals.
  • Coordinate process flow to ensure products are dispatched on time for online customer delivery.
  • Maintain awareness of in-store customer needs and direct Team Members to satisfy and delight customers.
  • Direct and assign job duties for Team Members.
  • Train, audit, and support Team Members in WFMOA standard operating procedures.
  • Ensure Team Members have the proper tools to perform their jobs and communicate repair or replacement needs to leadership.
  • Report and escalate systemic issues in a timely manner.
  • Demonstrate and/or perform shopping duties to support Team Members and WFMOA needs.
