About the position

As an E-Credit Quant Developer at UBS, you will be an integral part of the Global Markets principal e-trading business, focusing on developing next-generation algorithmic trading solutions. This role is designed for individuals who are passionate about building robust and scalable core Java server systems and are motivated to deliver real business value. You will work within a high-performing, fast-paced quant development team, where your contributions will directly impact the business and help grow revenues. Your responsibilities will include hands-on implementation of technical solutions for market-making corporate bonds electronically. This position offers a unique opportunity to engage in various projects and gain exposure to algorithmic trading and associated technologies, such as complex event processing and KDB. You will participate in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from analysis to implementation and support, collaborating closely with business teams based in London and other quants and IT teams across EMEA, the US, and APAC. The ideal candidate will possess strong server-side Java development experience, particularly with concurrency skills, and will demonstrate excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities. Familiarity with agile SDLC and Test-Driven Development (TDD) methodologies, including Git and CI/CD, is essential. Additionally, a working understanding of derivatives or trading will be beneficial in this role.

Responsibilities

Requirements
