About the position

The eDiscovery Junior Project Manager at Arnold & Porter plays a crucial role in supporting individual case teams by utilizing litigation technologies under the guidance of eDiscovery Project Managers. This position involves assisting with document preparation, managing data in Relativity workspaces, providing technical support, and ensuring quality client service throughout the eDiscovery process.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting and consulting with eDiscovery Project Managers regarding best practices for document preparation.
  • Creating and managing Relativity workspaces, loading data, running searches, and performing quality checks on document productions.
  • Consulting on document production formats and understanding changes to the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure.
  • Training legal and paralegal teams on eData applications like Relativity and Opus 2.
  • Suggesting new approaches to eDiscovery project management and participating in discussions.
  • Tracking and managing workflow, project requirements, and deadlines for outsourced projects.
  • Managing project requests for technical support and collaborating with Technical Operations.
  • Assisting with database requests and monitoring database structures.
  • Attending case team meetings to understand specific case needs.
  • Creating logins for eDiscovery applications for users.
  • Communicating with legal teams regarding workspaces for closed matters.
  • Managing user licenses and maintaining email distribution lists.
  • Updating information in Agility Blue databases as directed.

Requirements

  • Four-year college degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum two years of experience in an active litigation environment preferred.
  • Knowledge of Relativity and relational or transcript database applications.
  • Proficiency in Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
