About the position

The eDiscovery Project Manager will lead a remote team supporting a federal agency by managing the workload for eDiscovery and FOIA requests. This role involves overseeing technical resources, ensuring the security and maintenance of software products like Relativity and Microsoft SharePoint, and providing on-the-job training to team members. The position requires strong communication skills and the ability to manage a team effectively while ensuring compliance with federal standards.

Responsibilities

  • Manage work requests for a team of 8 - 12, including IT support personnel.
  • Monitor incoming work and participate in fulfilling eDiscovery and FOIA requests.
  • Provide on-the-job training and status reports to team members.
  • Coach team members in meeting customer requirements and following applicable standards.
  • Communicate potential needs for additional resources if major litigation is anticipated.
  • Plan and monitor system upgrades to ensure software is current, secure, and available.
  • May be required to testify or attest to processes and procedures followed to identify electronic information.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with at least 7 years of eDiscovery experience in the workplace.
  • Must be able to pass a commercial background check followed by a federal background investigation for a Public Trust clearance.
  • Experience managing/administering Relativity / RelativityOne and Microsoft Purview / eDiscovery / SharePoint environments.
  • Experience using these tools to identify, hold, redact, and deliver electronic information for legal cases.
  • Experience ingesting, processing, and analyzing data in Relativity or Relativity One.
  • Experience identifying, collecting, and analyzing electronic information in Microsoft 365 eDiscovery solutions.
  • Experience leading technical teams.
  • Experience interacting and working closely with attorneys on eDiscovery needs.
  • Working knowledge of eDiscovery and records management systems.
