About the position

Capgemini Engineering is seeking a skilled RF Engineer to join our team in Redmond, Washington. In this role, you will be responsible for working with RF front-end components and conducting link budget analysis, as well as implementing digital modulation schemes. Your expertise will be crucial in performing parametric testing for RF transmitters and receivers, specifically for LTE, WCDMA, and GSM technologies. You will also be tasked with conducting receiver desensitization measurements, noise profiling, co-existence measurements, and testing, alongside RF calibration and verification of modem RF front-end systems. As an RF Engineer, you will utilize your experience with RF equipment, including Wireless Communication Testers (CMW-500, MT8820, UXM Series), signal analyzers (PXA, FSW), vector network analyzers (VNA), and power meters. A strong understanding of communication theory, wireless systems, propagation considerations, signal processing, and both analog and digital filtering is essential. You will be expected to analyze and debug RF test and measurement data, ensuring compliance with 3GPP specifications for RF conformance across various technologies such as GSM, WCDMA, LTE, and 5G-NR. Familiarity with RF station calibration and quality control tools like QPST, PCAT QUTS, QDART Tools, and QXDM will be beneficial in this position.
