About the position

As an eFulfillment Center Partner II at H-E-B, you will play a crucial role in the eCommerce Fulfillment Operations, ensuring that customer orders are picked, packed, and prepared accurately and efficiently. This position focuses on maintaining high standards of quality and safety while contributing to a team-oriented environment. You will be responsible for fulfilling customer orders in a timely manner, adhering to company regulations, and promoting a positive customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Select and bag full or partial customer orders for shipment in an organized, clean, accurate, and damage-free manner.
  • Check products for out of date/damages to ensure freshness and quality of products.
  • Properly load carts into delivery vehicles in a clean, accurate, and damage-free manner.
  • Perform work tasks in a safe manner, proactively addressing safety issues within the facility.
  • Complete work assignments in a timely manner, using time efficiently to support facility goals for on-time deliveries.
  • Ensure that work performed meets individual, team, and facility productivity goals.
  • Comply with all federal, state, and company regulations/standards for product freshness, food safety, and sanitation.
  • Accurately complete assignments and resolve issues related to accuracy.
  • Communicate below standard wareroom, cooler, and/or freezer conditions to management.
  • Unload/sort product to put-away carts and stock carts to selection locations.
  • Unload/sort product to pallets and induct product into automated put-away system.
  • Minimize shrink through careful handling of product.

Requirements

  • Minimum age 18 (mandatory).
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail.
  • Reading/writing, math, and communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and handle cross-functional tasks.
  • Ability to work in a team-based environment and positively promote change.
  • Ability to learn and understand H-E-B in-house systems.
  • Ability to work with little to no supervision.
