About the position

The eLearning Developer / Instructional Designer role at Ampcus involves designing and developing e-learning training programs for various client business units. The position requires collaboration with both business and IT teams to ensure project success, utilizing advanced software tools to create engaging training content. This hybrid position allows for a mix of on-site and remote work, depending on business needs, and emphasizes the importance of effective communication and project management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the bridge between the business and IT, ensuring project success.
  • Design training courses utilizing input from client content owners and subject matter experts.
  • Develop training animations and storytelling-based modules using approved software tools.
  • Work with client personnel to enhance existing courses with new interactions.
  • Prepare polished written and oral communication for senior-level presentations.
  • Define and manage the training work stream and project documentation.
  • Monitor project schedules and deliverables, ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Recognize and resolve issues impacting project delivery, escalating complex problems as needed.
  • Collaborate with the training team to deliver engaging training solutions.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in online training development using Articulate products.
  • Bachelor's degree in a learning-related field or significant relevant experience.
  • Advanced user of Articulate Studio Storyline for online training development.
  • Proficient in animation design using tools like Vyond, Camtasia, and After Effects.
  • Ability to develop audio scripts using AI voice solutions such as WellSaid.
  • Working knowledge of project management skills for client interaction.
  • Ability to work independently and meet quality/timing requirements.
  • Experience in storyboarding, designing, and delivering training solutions.
  • Ability to create or modify graphical elements and edit video content.
  • Experience publishing SCORM 1.2 and AICC compliant courseware.

Nice-to-haves

  • Degree in Organizational Learning/Training and Development is preferred.
  • Portfolio of eLearning solutions including animations and storytelling techniques.
