About the position

The Educational Coordinator is responsible for designing and delivering organization-wide education and training programs aimed at the professional development of employees and leadership. This role involves translating learning requirements into effective solutions, serving as a resource for instructional design best practices, and managing the Learning Management System. The coordinator will also oversee educational activities that enhance competencies in Support Services and Clinical Support Services.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging education and training programs for professional development.
• Translate learning requirements into effective learning solutions and documentation.
• Serve as a resource for instructional design and delivery best practices.
• Manage the Learning Management System and oversee educational activities.
• Provide educational opportunities to enhance written competencies for Support Services and Clinical Support Services.
• Facilitate education and competency management, documentation, and evaluation.

Requirements

• BA/BS Degree in Healthcare, Training and Development, Instructional Design/eLearning, Education, or equivalent experience.
• AHA Current BLS certification.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• 3 years of teaching/instructional experience, curriculum development, and instructional design.
• Hands-on experience developing engaging training materials using authoring technologies and multimedia applications.

Nice-to-haves

• Master's Degree in Education or Learning Technology preferred.
• Basic HTML coding skills preferred.
• 2 years of Learning Management System administrator experience preferred.
• 2 years of healthcare-related experience preferred.
