About the position

The E-Learning Instructional Designer plays a crucial role in enhancing the training experience for medical staff and other business teams by leveraging technology. This position involves designing and developing online courses, managing Learning Management Systems (LMS), and ensuring the quality and effectiveness of e-learning programs. The role requires collaboration with subject matter experts and the integration of multimedia elements to create engaging learning experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop online courses, modules, and learning materials.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure content accuracy and relevance.
  • Create interactive and engaging learning experiences using multimedia elements such as videos, animations, quizzes, and simulations.
  • Manage and maintain the LMS, ensuring it is up-to-date and functioning properly.
  • Enroll users, track progress, and generate reports on learner performance.
  • Provide technical support to instructors and students using the LMS.
  • Apply instructional design principles to create effective and engaging learning experiences.
  • Develop instructional materials, including syllabi, lesson plans, assessments, and multimedia resources.
  • Ensure alignment of learning objectives, activities, and assessments.
  • Evaluate and recommend e-learning tools, technologies, and platforms.
  • Integrate new technologies into the learning environment to enhance the learning experience.
  • Provide training and support to faculty and staff on the use of e-learning tools and technologies.
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews of online courses to ensure they meet standards and best practices.
  • Implement and maintain standards for online course development and delivery.
  • Collect and analyze feedback from learners and instructors to improve course quality.
  • Manage e-learning projects from inception to completion, including timelines, resources, and budgets.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including instructional designers and IT staff.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in e-learning and instructional technology.
  • Research the effectiveness of e-learning programs and technologies.
  • Provide ongoing support to instructors and students in using e-learning tools and technologies.
  • Develop and deliver training sessions and workshops on e-learning best practices and tools.
  • Implement best practices for making e-learning content accessible to all learners.
  • Organize and manage digital content libraries.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience working with Learning Management Platforms (e.g., Tovuti).
  • Experience with e-learning authoring tools.
  • Proven experience with instructional design and e-learning development.
  • Proficiency in e-learning authoring and development tools (e.g., Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate, TechSmith Camtasia, Microsoft's Office Suite, and Adobe's Creative Suite).
  • Understanding of User Experience (UX) and User Interface (UI) design principles.
  • Experience using ADDIE, SAM, or Agile methodology.
  • Basic knowledge of related web development technologies (HTML 5, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus).
  • Experience creating storyboards and translating them into engaging web-based learning modules.
  • Familiarity with SCORM and other e-learning training standards.

  • Experience in project management.
