About the position

The E-Retail Manager/Sr. Manager at La Prairie is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing the online sales and enhancing the brand experience across various digital platforms. This position involves developing and executing e-retail strategies that drive sales growth and brand visibility while collaborating with multiple internal and external stakeholders. The role requires a strong focus on performance analytics, advertising management, promotional activities, and cross-functional collaboration to achieve revenue targets and maintain the luxury brand image.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain strong partnerships with top retailers, negotiating joint business plans to optimize growth and profitability.
  • Own the e-Retail P&L, ensuring profitability and sales growth across platforms while upholding La Prairie's luxury brand image.
  • Collaborate with global and local teams to ensure tailored execution of content, promotions, and product launches.
  • Align the strategy with overall regional & global business goals, working closely with regional teams to ensure winning omnichannel initiatives.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations across all platforms, including inventory management, product availability, and customer experience.
  • Develop and manage each retailer's e-commerce planning calendar and on-site content strategies in liaison with Marketing and Sales Development teams.
  • Drive e-retailers' sales goals and oversee all e-retail account management, tracking weekly sales and achieving sell-out targets.
  • Forecast retail sales by account weekly and review sales forecasts with the Sales Development team, reforecasting as needed.
  • Maintain monthly reports and track KPIs for overall business and site performance, gathering insights for competitive benchmarking.
  • Run weekly/monthly performance analysis and provide actionable insights using data to refine e-retail strategies and identify growth opportunities.
  • Monitor COOP agreements and media performance, making strategic adjustments to improve ROI and new client recruitment.
  • Manage digital co-op budget and campaigns including digital, onsite, social, and new opportunities.
  • Lead new launch product plans and ensure the success of promotional programs including brand exposure and digital campaigns.
  • Collaborate with internal marketing & media teams and external partners to design and optimize media strategies that drive traffic and sales.
  • Act as the key liaison between global teams, regional teams, and external retail partners to ensure alignment on brand guidelines and executional strategies.

Requirements

  • Minimum 4-5 years of experience in e-retailer and/or pure player management, preferably in luxury and/or beauty.
  • Proven track record in delivering successful online growth in partnership with eRetailers & pure players.
  • Experience building solid relationships with key retailers/e-retailers.
  • Excellent understanding of digital marketing, including SEO, CRM, and digital shelf optimization.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills to influence and manage both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret and leverage data for optimizing performance and making informed business decisions.
  • Self-motivated and solutions-oriented with proven ability to deliver sales results and creative marketing solutions in a timely manner and within budget.
  • Strength in multi-tasking, attention to detail, organization, collaboration, and communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively.
  • Knowledge and passion for cosmetics and/or luxury vertical.
