About the position

The eXPRS Technical Support Specialist 1 position at the Oregon Department of Human Services involves providing technical support to eXPRS end users, including individuals with developmental disabilities and their families, personal support workers, and agency providers. This role requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to analyze and resolve technical issues efficiently. Responsibilities

  • Provide technical expertise and support to eXPRS end users.
  • Monitor and filter eXPRS Service Desk tickets.
  • Gather and analyze information about user issues and needs.
  • Provide excellent customer service both in writing and verbally.
  • Perform ticket routing and escalation to Tier 2 level support.
  • Provide waiver eligibility case coding expertise to business partners.
  • Determine appropriate service eligibility waiver coding and dates for individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Correct waiver or service eligibility coding conflicts impacting service authorizations.

Requirements

  • Three years of technical-level evaluative, analytical and planning work experience.
  • Education in Business or Public Administration, Behavioral or Social Sciences, Political Science, Health, Human, or Social Services, or related degree may substitute for experience.
