About the position

EXPANSIA is seeking a Senior Azure Cloud Project Administrator to support the U.S. Air Force in transitioning to an enterprise-based Azure Cloud environment. This role involves operating and maintaining a multi-region Azure platform, ensuring a consistent and high-quality experience across various mission environments. The position requires significant Azure Cloud experience and the ability to work independently while collaborating with multiple application teams.

Responsibilities

• Install new software releases and system upgrades, evaluate and install patches, and resolve software-related problems.
• Perform system backups and recovery, maintain data files, and monitor system configuration to ensure data integrity.
• Communicate with executive leadership, present information, answer questions, and proactively resolve issues.
• Work with management to understand requirements, priorities, and objectives to support the overall solution.
• Participate in planning, backlog refinement, prioritization, and retrospectives.
• Manage cloud workloads in day-to-day operations and perform planning, designing, managing, supporting, and maintaining cloud computing activities.

Requirements

• Active Secret Clearance required.
• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field and 15+ years of relevant experience, including 5+ years in Azure cloud network architecture or a related role.
• Security+ certification (or equivalent) required.
• 5+ years' experience with Azure cloud services including virtual network appliances, Express Routes, Vnets/peering, and more.
• Experience with Azure governance capabilities and regulatory compliance such as IL5 and NIST 800-53 Rev 5.

Nice-to-haves
