Responsibilities

• Oversee the work of in-house and contracted crews, including scheduling equipment, materials, and personnel.
• Plan, coordinate, and implement emergency responses to inclement weather and hazardous spills.
• Ensure all projects adhere to established safety guidelines.
• Inspect road conditions and work completed by crews and contractors.
• Lead the work of Maintenance Roadway Inspectors and technical staff.
• Train employees on equipment use and procedures.
• Complete reports on damaged railings and bridges.

Requirements

• Experience in transportation program management and oversight.
• Knowledge of safety guidelines and procedures in construction and maintenance.
• Ability to inspect and assess road conditions and project progress.
• Strong communication skills for interaction with officials and contractors.
• Experience in training and leading technical staff.
