About the position

The Subject Matter Expert (SME) Azure Developer will be part of the Enterprise Engineering Team at World Wide Technology (WWT), focusing on improving data interoperability, integrity, and quality for systems within the USTRANSOM enterprise. This role involves designing and engineering support for Azure cloud environments, utilizing DevOps practices and Agile methodologies to deliver innovative IT solutions for government clients.

Responsibilities

• Develop Azure Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for an Enterprise Azure cloud environment.
• Work independently or collaboratively within a small team.
• Understand and implement Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) processes such as SAML, OAuth, and Federated Identities.
• Utilize knowledge of Government Cloud services, including Azure GovCloud.
• Engage in self-directed learning and demonstrate technical curiosity.
• Apply expertise in Azure Command Line Interface (CLI) and current Azure product offerings, including best practices and troubleshooting techniques.
• Provide systems administration and issue resolution for Azure environments.
• Demonstrate proficiency in one or more scripting or programming languages.

Requirements

• Active Secret clearance required to start.
• CompTIA Security+ or comparable IAT/IAM II/III certification required to start.
• Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in Azure development.
• Knowledge of Azure and Azure Services is essential.
• Possess at least one current Azure Certification.
• Familiarity with GIT, Jenkins, JSON, and YAML.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience or certification in Containerization technology is highly preferred.
• Strong motivation and ability to learn independently.
