About the position

The position involves providing comprehensive administrative support to the Managing Director of the Tactical Opportunities department within a leading financial firm. The role is designed for an enthusiastic individual who is passionate about supporting senior management and contributing to the efficiency of the department. Key responsibilities include managing travel arrangements, expenses, and scheduling, as well as conducting research and handling special projects.

Responsibilities

  • Book travel for department head and team
  • Manage expenses for all team members and the MD
  • Maintain calendar and adjust priorities as needed
  • Coordinate conference calls and meetings
  • Perform weekly system audit reports
  • Schedule annual trainings for various teams within the firm
  • Conduct research as needed at the request of senior associates and MD
  • Handle special projects as assigned

Requirements

  • Previous experience in the financial services environment
  • 4-8 years of administrative experience
  • Savvy with Microsoft Office
