About the position

The Industrial Engineering role at Lockheed Martin focuses on enhancing the production and performance of Blackhawk derivative airframes and components. The role requires collaboration with Operations Leadership to implement new technologies and optimize production layouts, contributing to continuous improvement efforts.

Responsibilities

• Conduct methods analysis and labor performance evaluations.
• Perform cost estimates and man-loading analyses.
• Assess workflows and conduct make-versus-buy studies.
• Develop and leverage daily and weekly reports to monitor manufacturing labor cost metrics.
• Collaborate with Operations Leadership to implement new technologies and methodologies.
• Optimize production layouts and facilitate continuous improvement efforts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience/combined education with 2 years of professional experience; or no experience required with a related Master's degree.
• Experience in a Manufacturing/Union environment with shop floor experience.
• Proficiency in Analytical and Project Planning Tools including MS Office suite and Tableau.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with SAP software.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation).
• Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize assignments.
• Greenbelt Certification.
• Understanding of Earned Value Management (EVM), Schedule Performance Index (SPI), and Cost Performance Index (CPI).
• Previous Sikorsky Operations experience.
