About the position

The Associate Broker position in Cyber Broking at Aon is designed for early career professionals looking to develop their skills in the cyber insurance sector. This role involves building relationships with clients, supporting senior staff in the insurance brokerage process, and gaining a comprehensive understanding of cyber risk management. The position is part of Aon's Early Career Development program, which provides mentorship and professional growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop professional presentation skills for client interactions, including technical writing and verbal presentations.
  • Support senior staff in soliciting and servicing clients throughout the insurance brokerage deal flow process.
  • Assist with client preparation work, such as creating presentations and proposals, ensuring accuracy and professionalism.
  • Analyze insurance policies and determine necessary enhancements by market comparison.
  • Learn about Aon and Cyber Solutions' value proposition.
  • Understand the Mergers & Acquisitions diligence process and provide related reports and benchmarking.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with external and internal clients, focusing on the management liability insurance marketplace.
  • Compile submission information and provide continuous support to clients during the broking process.
  • Manage all aspects of client service for an assigned book of business, including billing and policy collection.
  • Utilize technology effectively throughout the broking and client service processes.

Requirements

  • Recent college graduates (Seniors graduating between Spring 2024 - Spring 2025) with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
  • Ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data and insurance policies.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience or coursework related to cyber risk management or insurance.
  • Familiarity with Mergers & Acquisitions processes.
