About the position

The Assistant Director at Willowcreek Academy plays a crucial role in supporting the Center Director to ensure the health, safety, and quality of education for all children in the center's care. This position involves collaboration with staff to deliver curriculum and classroom activities effectively, while also maintaining communication with families and the community.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Center Director in ensuring health, safety, and quality of education for children.
  • Collaborate with staff to ensure adherence to quality standards and implement improvements as needed.
  • Maintain communication with families and community through outreach activities.
  • Follow all center policies and state regulations.
  • Assume duties of Center Director and Teachers during their absence.
  • Maintain a personal professional development plan for continuous quality improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or Associate's Degree in a relevant field.
  • Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • High energy and a strong understanding of child development.
  • Must clear full background check and pass health screening.
