Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing the curriculum to meet the unique needs of each child.
• Help create a safe, nurturing environment for children to play and learn.
• Support and partner with parents to provide optimal care and education for their children.
• Collaborate with staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, children, and staff.
• Assist in planning and executing creative and engaging activities for children.
• Communicate effectively with parents about their child's progress and needs.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a positive and productive environment.

Requirements

• Previous experience in childcare or early childhood education preferred.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Outstanding customer service skills.
• Strong organizational abilities and the ability to multi-task.
• CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Meet state-specific qualifications for the role (or willingness to obtain).
• Physically able to use a computer, lift a minimum of 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors.
• Ability to assume low-level postures for interacting with children and engage in physical activity.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with parents and children.
• Creativity in assisting with planning and implementing activities.
• Teamwork and collaboration skills.
