About the position
The Early Childhood Educator at Little Tikes Daycare is responsible for guiding children through their early development by implementing curriculum planning and providing a nurturing environment. The role emphasizes building positive relationships with children and parents, ensuring effective communication, and maintaining a calm and patient demeanor while addressing each child's individual needs.
Responsibilities
- Guide children through early development using curriculum planning.
- Respond efficiently to each child's needs.
- Display a patient and calm personality with a loving approach.
- Contribute positively to children's behavior and social interactions.
- Build positive professional relationships with children and parents.
- Work closely with coworkers and staff to adhere to guidelines.
- Keep daily records of infants' care to share with parents.
- Report accidents, illnesses, and unusual behaviors to the Director or Assistant Director and parents.
- Ensure necessary communication with parents throughout the day.
Requirements
- 1 year of teaching experience (preferred).
- 1 year of childcare experience (preferred).
- Child Development Associate Certification (preferred).
