About the position
The Early Childhood Specialist for Pre-K will serve as a resource specialist in Early Childhood Education, providing support to staff, consultants, and partners. This role involves implementing the Pre-K grant application, ensuring compliance with regulations, and offering training and orientation to new staff. The specialist will also step in as a substitute teacher in Pre-K classrooms as needed.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a resource specialist to all staff, consultants, and collaborating partners in Early Childhood Education.
- Implement the Pre-K grant application and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
- Provide substitute teaching in Pre-K classrooms on an as-needed basis.
- Train and orient new staff regarding their job responsibilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field with a minimum of 30 ECE credits.
- Minimum of 2 years preschool teaching experience.
- Supervisory experience required.
