About the position

ECE Subhub is a Substitute company based out of Lake Orion, MI, dedicated to providing a creative and inspiring work experience for individuals passionate about educating young children. We operate in various cities across six counties, including Wayne, Oakland, Jackson, Macomb, Genesee, and Washtenaw. Our mission is to create an inclusive, fun, and rewarding environment for our substitute teachers who work with children aged 0-5 years. We place our substitutes in a variety of early childhood programs, including Head Start and GSRP Programs, school district early childhood programs, church-based programs, and childcare centers. Our work environment is characterized by a safe and lively atmosphere, where educators can thrive and make a significant impact on the lives of young learners. Responsibilities

• Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children aged 0-5 years.
• Implement lesson plans and educational activities in accordance with the curriculum.
• Supervise and engage with children during playtime and learning activities.
• Communicate effectively with parents and staff regarding children's progress and needs.
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education or Elementary Education with ZA or ZS endorsement.
• CPR Adult and Pediatric Certification (Preferred).
• Ability to work in various early childhood settings.
