About the position

The Early Childhood Team Lead at Learning Care Group is responsible for promoting the social, physical, and intellectual growth of children in a childcare setting. This role involves leading classroom management, implementing curriculum, mentoring staff, and ensuring compliance with licensing guidelines. The position emphasizes building relationships with families and creating a positive learning environment for children.

Responsibilities

• Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of children in care.
• Lead classroom management and curriculum implementation, ensuring classroom instruction is at least 50% of the weekly schedule.
• Communicate and build relationships with families to support child achievement and center success.
• Mentor and assist in the management, training, and mentoring of new hires and fellow teachers.
• Take on the duties of Director or Assistant Director in their absence, including opening and closing the school.
• Ensure daily care of every child by following licensing guidelines and implementing company standards.

Requirements

• Experience in a licensed childcare facility, leading a classroom, and implementing lesson plans.
• College credits towards Early Childhood Education or Child Development degree or a CDA preferred.
• Ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
