About the position

We are seeking dedicated and passionate Instructors to provide special instruction services to children from birth to 3 years of age, particularly those with disabilities, including autism. The role involves following Individualized Family Service Plans, consulting with families and team members, and educating caregivers on strategies to support children's developmental goals.

Responsibilities

• Follow Individualized Family Service Plans and provide special instruction services to children from birth to 3 years of age.
• Consult with the family/caregivers and other team members to support the child in reaching their specific developmental goals.
• Follow a coaching model to educate families/caregivers on strategies and encourage their involvement to achieve goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in early intervention, early childhood education, special education, child development or family studies.
• 1 year of full-time or full-time-equivalent experience.
• Experience working with children, particularly those with developmental delays, autism or special needs.
• Knowledge of literacy education practices and techniques.
• Strong mentoring skills with the ability to inspire and motivate families.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
• A commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment that respects diversity and promotes equity among all learners.
